Caroline Nokes MP grills PM on the impact of the Bill on children.

RAMP principal, Caroline Nokes MP, grilled the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the Commons Liaison Committee last week where the PM was defending plans to detail child migrants under the Illegal Migration Bill.

In response to Noke’s questions, Sunak stated that “The intention of this policy is not to detain children but it’s important that we don’t inadvertently create a policy that incentivises people to bring children who wouldn’t otherwise come here.”
