Mayor of Bristol Statement - Homes for Ukraine Scheme

Bristol Mayor and RAMP Principal, Marvin Rees, published a statement today calling Bristolians to offer sanctuary to Ukrainians by taking part in the recently announced ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme, which goes live on Friday March 18. In this strong and well-measured statement, Marvin Rees asks Bristol residents to support the scheme, while outlining the structural flaws in the asylum system that made it necessary, and the importance of establishing refugee a protection system that supports refugees from all nationalities.
